Step aboard the impressive clipper Willem Jacob and experience an evening you won't soon forget! At the ferry dock, where the ferries also depart, you will be warmly welcomed at 7:00 PM by our enthusiastic crew with a cup of coffee, tea, water, or lemonade. Want to make your evening complete? Then opt for a delicious dinner on board, perfect for pampering your taste buds in style. Reserve this in advance for just €24 and pay easily on board. You are most welcome to come aboard for dinner from 5:30 PM onwards. After a brief explanation, we will hoist the sails together and your unique adventure across the enchanting Wadden Sea begins. Feel the wind in your hair while you actively help out on deck, or lean back and relax while enjoying the serene surroundings. As the sun slowly touches the horizon, the sky turns magical hues that reflect on the calm water. An experience you really must have! At 10:00 PM, we return to the harbor, our heads full of wonderful memories of an evening filled with peace, nature, and adventure. Location
The departure of the clipper Willem Jacob of the Eilandhopper will take place on the south side of the ferry harbour, at the crane and the round white house. The Eilandhopper ships can be recognised by the large Eilandhopper flag. If you come by bike, you can park it at the special bicycle shed near the sailing boat, against the fence. Please note that bicycles may not be placed near the crane or the white house, because of the driveway of the cars and trucks to the ferry and the crane used by the KNRM. Please arrive on time, because we will not wait, no, sorry, the tide will not wait either. Plan to be there 15 minutes in advance.

✔ There are many steps and stairs on board. This should be taken into account if you are less mobile. ✔ If you have booked dinner and you have an allergy or a dietary requirement, please let us know in advance by email info@eilandhopper.nl ✔ For all our tours; a minimum of 4 registrations 24 hours before departure. If the tour is cancelled, you will receive a message from the skipper. ✔ Please arrive on time, because we do not wait, no, sorry, the tide does not wait either. Zeer aan te raden zeilervaring
Bedankt voor jullie mooie woorden – fijn om te lezen dat jullie zo hebben genoten van de zeilervaring en de sfeer aan boord. Jullie opmerking over de communicatie is terecht. Door een last-minute wijziging in het programma moesten we veel mensen in korte tijd informeren, en daarbij is het bij één persoon helaas misgegaan in de communicatie en afhandeling. Dat had beter gekund, dank voor het aangeven.

Sailing is always a special experience, especially on an authentic ship! Join us and discover the Wadden Sea by sail. Sailing is suitable for both children and adults. No sailing experience is necessary. Participation is welcome, but not required. There's always someone with experience on board who's happy to explain everything. Don't feel like helping with the sailing? Then you can simply sit on the deck and take in the scenery and truly unwind.
