Sail on sail-off Arrangement. Experience the Wadden Sea in a relaxed way and enjoy time on Schiermonnikoog. On Friday you sail from Lauwersoog to Schiermonnikoog, including a dryfall trip where you can walk on the mudflats. Lunch and dinner are included on board, and coffee and tea are always provided during the trip. You arrange your own overnight stay on the island. On Sunday you board again for the return sail to Lauwersoog. Departure Lauwersoog Friday 6 November 10:00, arrival Schiermonnikoog (veerdam) Friday 6 November 17:00. Departure Schiermonnikoog (veerdam) Sunday 8 November 15:00, arrival Lauwersoog Sunday 8 November 17:00.

Location
Sail on sail-off Arrangement aboard the clipper Willem Jacob. The ship is moored in the harbor of Lauwersoog, opposite restaurant Schierzicht. You can recognize the Willem Jacob by the large light blue flag with white letters "eilandhopper" in the rigging. The ship is black with a brown stripe and has one mast. Book a memorable experience on this classic clipper.
Important to know
Please note that there are many steps and stairs on board. Keep this in mind if you have reduced mobility. If you have booked lunch or dinner and have an allergy or dietary request, please inform us in time by email at info@eilandhopper.nl. For all our excursions a minimum of four bookings is required at least 24 hours before departure. If a trip is cancelled, the skipper will notify you. Please arrive on time, we ask you to be present 15 minutes before departure. November can be cold, so bring a warm waterproof jacket. Water or surf shoes are recommended for walking on the mudflats. Coffee and tea are included.

Sailing is always a special experience, especially on an authentic ship! Join us and discover the Wadden Sea by sail. Sailing is suitable for both children and adults. No sailing experience is necessary. Participation is welcome, but not required. There's always someone with experience on board who's happy to explain everything. Don't feel like helping with the sailing? Then you can simply sit on the deck and take in the scenery and truly unwind.
